About Game
Ubisoft is bringing Assassin's Creed Rogue, which was released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in November, to Windows PC on March 10, the publisher announced today.
In Assassin's Creed Rogue, players assume the role of a Templar named Shay Patrick Cormack who becomes an Assassin Hunter. The game takes place in North America during the Seven Years War and sees the return of naval-based combat from Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag.
Ubisoft Kiev is adding something new to the Windows PC version of Rogue: eye-tracking. The dev team has partnered with eye-tracking firm Tobii Tech to integrate their technology into Assassin's Creed Rogue, adding a new form of input that's complementary to keyboard and mouse controls. Owners of the SteelSeries Sentry eye-tracking hardware will be able to pan the game's camera left and right via eye movement. Ubisoft says this creates "an 'infinite screen' experience."
PC gamers who pre-order Assassin's Creed Rogue through Ubisoft's Uplay will get one of seven Assassin's Creed games for free: Assassin's Creed 3, Freedom Cry, Liberation, Revelations, Brotherhood Deluxe, 2 Deluxe or the original Assassin's Creed.
